Colour drained from the sky
Colour drained from my soul
No more tears to cry
Life has taken its toll
The ones who tore us apart
By way of their bigoted view
Have left a void in my heart
That no-one can fill except you
I know you can never be mine
Though I think of you every day
And so, come rain or come shine
The hue of my life is dull grey
